I find this presentation really inspiring... I think we all should watch it from time to time to remind ourselves of the organic nature of teaching and learning processes.
This talk truly moved me. I'm a teacher. I think I've always been. I was the typical Miss Smarty pants who other kids didn't really like, but I didn't care because I wanted to know things, and get smarter every day. Was that my talent? I think it was, and I'm the luckiest persone now because I'm getting paid for doing a job I love. I want that for my students and for everyone. This is a time of convoluted changes. But we can't be afraid, we have to seize this opportunity to start a revolution in education. I'm inspired by Robinson's words because they resonate with me, and I believe we should all be transmitting them to our students.
I loved the final part about the poem. We have to be careful with our students dreams. No one should tread on them. We as teachers should motivate them to flourish!
excellent reflection upon EDUCATION. I totally agree with this Sir. iT`S fantastic his metaphor of education as an agricultural model. It`s revolutionary but it`s excactly what we need. Of course it's a big challenge but I consider that`s the path to work for the future, peace and growth.
It makes me think that as a teacher you must be creative all the time, and you need to keep up with the times. Otherwise, students will not be engaged. The talk was really great!
